So here they are a couple of months late.

I really like the fabrics I chose but I had a hard time making the placemats turn out totally square and getting the Timtex to lie flat in them. I think I'll make another set for us with reds and greens sometime soon.

I think you are the Sewing Goddess. I seriously am in awe with all of these things you make. I love all of them!!!! You have to start selling some of this stuff.

Thanks for the compliment, oh Domestic Goddess! A couple of people have asked me about selling stuff. I wouldn't mind selling a piece or two here or there, but I have no intention of making quantities of things to sell.

First of all, I don't think I could actually make any money doing it when supplies and time are factored in. And second of all, I don't want to feel like I HAVE to make things. I want it to be a creative release...a way of resting. But, if you've got an idea for something you can always float it by me and you never know what kind of package might show up in your mailbox :)

Very cool and sophisticated, Deb! Placemats and napkins are fun to make and give, and I wouldn't have thought of putting them with matching tableware as a gift.

Lovely, I am planning on creating my own placemats myself. I like the color combo of the fabric you chose. Very nice.
