Recipe: Baked Pumpkin French Toast


















Oh. My. Goodness. I saw this recipe on MADE and I had to make it right away. I love pumpkin, I love all things custardy. I love breakfast food. This is the trifecta of yumminess.

I made it Saturday night so we could eat it for Sunday breakfast. It has a gooey caramel layer on the bottom, perfectly seasoned french toast in the middle and a bit of cinnamon sugary crunch on the top. All the Sprout could say was "Mo' Pump'in Pie Mae-ee" (more pumpkin pie please) and I was happy to oblige. I might make it again next weekend. Seriously. I love it that much.
