Master Bedroom, Before

When I get a little down on how slow our house remodel is going, it's always good to remind myself how far we've come.





Here's what it looked like in September 2004 shortly after we moved in. Note the great shag carpet and the dark paneling. The room only has one windows on the north side so it was imperative to paint the paneling white right away.

When we ripped up the carpet we found this funky old floor cloth. Too bad it disintegrated when we tried to roll it up.



We took up the carpet, cleaned and gave it all a quick coat of paint and used this room as our office/craft room/junk room for the last five or six years. It was high time to fix it right.
